by Runbox Solutions AS · Founded 2000
Runbox has been providing privacy-focused email from Norway since 2000, making it one of Europe's longest-running independent email services. In 2011, key personnel bought out the original parent company and formed Runbox Solutions AS, which is majority employee-owned. All servers run on 100% certified renewable energy from Norwegian hydroelectricity, operating under Norway's strong consumer and privacy protections as an EEA member state.
